CHRISTIAN FORMATION
Nursery: The nursery, for children from birth to 3 years, is staffed by loving caregivers and is located in the Sunday School area of the first level of the Parish House. Listen for the children having fun while their parents are in church. The nursery is open from 10-12:00 p.m.
Adult and Older-Youth Faith Formation
Questors: Each month, from September through May, a group known as “Questors” meets to discuss issues of the day. The topics may or may not be of a religious nature but the endeavor is to bring Christian beliefs into the equation. The group meets in members homes on a rotating basis the fourth Friday evening of each month at 7:30 p.m. All are welcome. For more information, contact the church office at stannes1745@gmail.com
Shrine Mont is a conference center of the Diocese that is home to the Cathedral Shrine of the Transfiguration, the open-air cathedral of the Diocese of Virginia. Open from early spring through mid-November, Shrine Mont hosts church retreats; an extensive diocesan camp for children; meetings and conferences for religious and secular groups, and even high school band groups. Annual events at Shrine Mont include the Art & Soul Retreat; the Bishop's Bluegrass Festival; and the Family Conference. Contact the parish office for more information about scholarships available for children and youth to attend one of the summer camping programs. Visit Shrine Mont online.
Diocesan Conference & Camping Program: Rosyln is a year-round Episcopal conference and retreat center in Richmond. Each year, Roslyn welcomes churches, organizations and individuals to their 150 scenic acres for events, workshops and quiet retreats. Bequeathed to the Diocese in 1934 by Miss Annie Rose Walker, today Roslyn is a center for educational exploration and spiritual life in an environment that invites reflection and inquiry. Visit Rosyln online.
Retreats: Retreats offer designated times apart for rest, spiritual renewal, and warm fellowship where scriptures are shared, the gospel lived; people are loved and accepted and offered spiritual guidance. St. Anne's Parish offers half-day retreats a couple times a year.

Worship
Acolytes: The Acolytes are a group of boys and girls who participate in the worship service by either carrying the cross or assisting the priest at the altar. They are actively supported by their families. If your child is interested in becoming a crucifer or server, please contact Rev. Ellen clergystannesparish@gmail.com.
The Altar Guild: The Altar Guild is composed of small groups of dedicated women and men in each of the churches who prepare the altar for worship each Sunday, as well as on special occasions. If you would like to serve on the Altar Guild at Christ Church or St. Stephen's Church, please contact Rev. Ellen clergystannesparish@gmail.com.
Lay Eucharistic Ministers and Lay Readers: The Lay Eucharistic Ministers and Lay Readers are given their monthly schedule for each church well in advance, and are faithful and diligent in carrying out their assignments.
Music: Music, instrumental, choral and congregational is a central and supportive part of our worship experience. Besides the traditional organ and piano, we often have the blessing of a string ensemble and our newly formed hand bell choir.

Outreach Ministries: St. Anne’s Parish supports and works with the local Bread of Life food bank program and Meals on Wheels. The parish supplies food to needy individual families from our own food pantry which parishioners stock weekly. St. Anne's also supports the Albemarle County Mobile Food Pantry and assists families through our Angel Tree program with gifts and food during the Christmas season. We help our men and women in the armed services through our Care Packages for our Men and Women in Afghanistan.
